Begonia sp Sarawak

This is an exceptionally iridescent begonia species. It has a tendency to crawl, rather than grow upwards, although it can be trained to do so. This particular one is a juvenile plant with lots of leaves and growth points! It will be very quick to take over a terrarium under the right conditions.

This species needs high humidity (95% or more), low to medium light (they become more iridescent under lower lighting conditions) and does best in a terrarium. Pictures just don’t do this plant justice! They look unreal in person when they catch the light a certain way.
